Kyiv determined to use Baku's experience in its development, says mayor

Baku Mayor Eldar Azizov and his delegation, who are on an official visit to Kyiv, Ukraine, took part in the Kyiv Investment Forum, Report informs.

Eldar Azizov gave detailed information about the development of Baku.

Speaking at the Kyiv Investment Forum, he noted that Baku is developing rapidly thanks to the far-sighted and decisive policy of President Ilham Aliyev. According to the mayor, today, Baku continues to grow as an economic and cultural center of the region.

Azizov said that despite the difficulties created by the coronavirus pandemic, large infrastructure projects are being implemented in Baku, new schools and kindergartens are being built and overhauled, roads are being built and renovated.

The forum participants were also informed about the vandalism committed by Armenian nationalists in the occupied territories, destroyed cities and villages, and cultural monuments.

Speaking at the forum, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that Baku is among the top cities in the world for its rapid development: "We are determined to use the experience of Baku in Kyiv's development."
