Kiev to host GUAM Summit today

Today, Kiev will host a summit of the heads of government of the member states of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM.

Report informs referring to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine that the main topic of the meeting will be a public-private partnership in the implementation of key GUAM projects to facilitate trade and transportation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov will lead the Azerbaijani delegation at the summit. Protocol documents will be signed following the meeting.

Notably, the declaration on the creation of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM (ODER-GUAM) and its charter were signed by the parties in 2005.
