Baku. 20 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan can not fully implement the obligations in human rights because of occupation of its territories by Armenia.
Report informs, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov said at the 118th session of the UN Human Rights Committee, Geneva.
He recalled that as a result of occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia over 1 million people became refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), their rights have been violated:. "The Armenians grossly violated international humanitarian law, committed war crimes."
At the same time, Deputy Minister said that Azerbaijan adheres to resolve the conflict by peaceful means within the territorial integrity.
