Global discussions - from COP climate conferences to the World Urban Forum (WUF) in Baku - should be directly linked to policy implementation processes at the national level.
Report informs that Kenyan expert Robert Sargoni said this at WUF13 in Baku.
According to him, specialists in construction and urban planning play an important role in implementing these processes.
"We focus not only on governance and infrastructure issues, but also on urban planning, which brings all these areas together. The main goal is to integrate them and unite them around a common objective," Sargoni said.
