Baku. 21 September. REPORT.AZ/ The high-level inter-parliamentary commission Azerbaijan-Russia will deal with  the issues of cooperation in energy, transport, logistics and other spheres, head of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov said.

Report informs that he was speaking at a press conference in Baku.

"Inter-parliamentary relations are on the rise. We significantly raised our relations by creating a high-level inter-parliamentary commission between Azerbaijan and Russia," Kalashnikov said, adding that there are only six commissions of the kind in the State Duma.

According to him, the purpose of creating such a commission is to consider substantive and topical issues such as energy, transport, logistics, transportation, as well as "North-South", "East-West" projects and a number of other topical issues.
