Jeyhun Bayramov embarks on visit to Turkey

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has begun his visit to Turkey.

As part of the visit, the Minister met with Secretary-General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev in Ankara.

The sides exchanged views on various topics of the current program of the Turkic Council's activity and issues on the international and regional agenda.

Bayramov and Amreyev discussed preparations for important events, including the informal summit of the Turkic Council to be held in Turkistan in late March and the Extraordinary Summit to be held in Istanbul this autumn.

Bayramov and Amrayev also touched upon the future cooperation strategy between the member states of the Turkic Council.

The fifth trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan will be held in Ankara today.
