Jeyhun Bayramov meets with Head of ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Ariane Bauer, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan.

Following the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with ICRC Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia Martin Schüepp on December 7, the sides exchanged views on the Committee's activities in the conflict-affected areas of Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the new situation in the region after the joint agreement of November 10, 2020, opening all communications, ensuring the peaceful coexistence of both communities, and other issues arising from the statement.

The work done by the ICRC to provide relevant assistance to people in need was noted with satisfaction, and Azerbaijan supports its activities.

The meeting also reviewed cooperation between Azerbaijan and the ICRC and ways to further increase the ICRC's activities in our country.
