Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, Report says, citing the Georgian government's press service.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation. The parties focused on cooperation in political, trade, economic, energy, education, and cultural spheres.
The sides exchanged views on the situation in the region. The meeting stressed the importance of the strategic partnership and the deepening of cooperation in various formats between the two countries.
Gakharia thanked the Azerbaijani minister for supporting Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Both sides expressed support for the peaceful settlement of conflicts in the region.
