Israeli Ambassador says no warning made against traveling to Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel welcomes the desire of the Israelis to visit Azerbaijan, Report quotes the newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, George Deek, as saying. Deek was commenting on the question of whether the Israeli side had urged its citizens not to travel to Azerbaijan.

"The Israeli Foreign Ministry does not urge its citizens not to travel to Azerbaijan. Just the other way round, the Foreign Ministry welcomes the desire of the Israelis to visit Azerbaijan," the Ambassador added.
