Israeli ambassador: Relations with Azerbaijan to continue to strengthen

Chairman of the Ali Majlis (Supreme Assembly) of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Azerbaijan George Deek, Report informs referring to the press service of the Supreme Assembly.

The speaker stressed the role of the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan in the development of relations between the two countries.

Noting that the autonomous republic has been in blockade for many years, Talibov expressed confidence that after the restoration of communications, relations will expand in various areas - in education, healthcare, tourism, agriculture, and the use of new technologies.

Thanking for the warm welcome, Ambassador George Deek stressed the importance of his visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Speaking about the multicultural and tolerant environment in Azerbaijan, the diplomat said that in the future, relations would continue to strengthen.
