Israeli ambassador: “Progress in restoration of liberated territories is inspiring”

"Progress in reconstruction and restoration in the liberated areas, primarily in Zangilan, is inspiring," Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek told Report.

He emphasized that Israel and Azerbaijan are friendly countries and partners.

"We are proud that Israel is a partner of Azerbaijan in transforming the region into a stable, livable region for providing people with job opportunities," the ambassador said.

He recalled his country's partnership with Azerbaijan in developing dairy farming.

"This is my third visit to Agali village. On my first visit, there was nothing here. But on my second visit, construction work was underway. Now it is a real village with schools, houses and government agencies. It is inspiring to see such progress," Deek said.

As previously reported, the Israeli company is building a 300-400 buffalo farm in Zangilan as part of the "smart farm" concept.
