Israel keen to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in agriculture

Baku. 20 December. REPORT.AZ/ Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dan Stav visited Aghjabadi region as part of his tour to the South-Western regions of the country.

Report informs citing the press service of Israeli Embassy to Azerbaijan.

During his meeting with the Chief Executive Power of the Aghjabadi region, Shahin Mammadov comprehensively briefed him about the region's economy.

Both sides discussed the opportunities for cooperation in the field of agriculture and human capacity building through MASHAV - Israel's International Development Cooperation Agency. After the meeting Ambassador Stav visited a number of the enterprises in order to have a first hand impression of the economic activities in Aghjabadi.

In addition, he visited the Folklore Museum and Karabakh Mugham Center and was deeply impressed from the successful efforts to preserve the rich cultural heritage and bonds with the historical motherland of Azerbaijan.
