Ambassador: Israel highly appreciates Azerbaijan's contribution to fight against Nazism

"Israel highly values Azerbaijan's contribution to the fight against terrorism and Nazism," Report says, citing newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, George Deek.

"Azerbaijan and Israel agree that the world must be free from terrorism, aggression, and other dangers. Israel also believes that it is necessary to live in a secure world. Israel highly values Azerbaijan's contribution to the fight against Nazism," Deek said.

The Ambassador also noted that Iran's hostile attitude to Israel threatens the stability of the region.

"I want to note that the people of Iran are our friends. We respect and support them. We have recently seen footage where US and Israeli flags are drawn on the ground for people to trample on. But people did not do it. Therefore, we declare our respect for them and support these people in every possible way," the diplomat said.
