Ilham Aliyev congratulates his Latvian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulations to his Latvian counterpart, Egils Levits.
Report informs that the letter reads:
"Dear Mr.President.
"On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I wholeheartedly congratulate you and your people on the national holiday of the Republic of Latvia - Independence Day.
"The Azerbaijan-Latvia friendship and cooperation have good traditions. I am confident that our joint efforts towards the further strengthening of our bilateral relations and expansion of our cooperation in all spheres will further contribute to the prosperity of our peoples.
"On these holidays, I extend my best wishes to you, and I wish eternal peace and prosperity to the friendly Latvian people."
