Hajiyev: Armenia achieved nothing for 30 years of occupation

Azerbaijan is working to strengthen cooperation in the region. Armenia can become part of this cooperation and benefit from it, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, speaking at the panel session “South Caucasus: Regional Development and Prospective for Cooperation” within VIII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

He noted that all countries of the region should be responsible and contribute to its development and prosperity, and Azerbaijan is ready to play its role in this.

The peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia will allow transforming the South Caucasus region as a whole, build an integrated region, and Armenia can be a part of this process. Armenia achieved nothing during 30 years of occupation of Azerbaijani lands, Hajiyev added.
