Türkiye's Haber Global TV has prepared a program on the first anniversary of Azerbaijan's anti-terror operations in Karabakh.
According to Report, the program highlights that through these measures, Azerbaijan fully ensured its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
It was also noted that the Victory Parade held in Khankandi last November went down in history as another brilliant manifestation of Azerbaijan's power and the strength of its army.
The program emphasized several factors that necessitated Azerbaijan's anti-terror measures:
"Contrary to the requirements of the trilateral statement signed on November 10, 2020, Armenia had not withdrawn its troops from Karabakh and had not demilitarized the area. On the contrary, Armenians in Karabakh were being provided with weapons. Military equipment and weapons were being transported to Karabakh. Also, engineering and fortification works were being carried out in front of the positions of the Azerbaijani Army. Reconnaissance and sabotage groups had intensified their activities. Roads were being mined again."
It was noted that Armenia's provocations did not end there:
"On September 2, 2023, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory letter to the separatist regime on the anniversary of the 'Declaration of Independence of Nagorno-Karabakh'. On September 9, fake presidential elections were held in Karabakh. These indicated that Armenia was preparing for larger military provocations. Therefore, it was necessary to take steps to combat terrorism. The Azerbaijani army was aware of the hypocritical steps. Thus, on September 19, local anti-terror measures were launched."
