GUAM Foreign Ministers condemn actions directed against their sovereignty and territorial integrity

Baku. 5 December. REPORT.AZ/ The 24th meeting of GUAM Foreign Ministers Council was held on December 5 in Basel in the framework of OSCE Ministerial meeting. Report informs citing the press service of the GUAM, Council of Foreign Ministers taken into account the information of the Presidency side on the work done to promote the draft resolution entitled "Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security and development", exchanged views on the latest developments in conflict zones in the GUAM area and condemned the actions directed against their sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

Ministerial Council thanked the Moldovan Party for the successful chairmanship and decided to transfer the presidency of organization to Ukraine.

Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov  headed the Azerbaijani delegation  at the meeting. 

Venue and date of the next meeting of the Ministerial Council will be agreed through diplomatic channels.
