Grossi highlights Azerbaijan-IAEA cooperation in key sectors

Azerbaijan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are cooperating in energy planning, nuclear infrastructure, food security and cancer treatment, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.
According to Report, Grossi wrote on X following his meeting with Kamil Khasiyev, Azerbaijan's new ambassador to the IAEA.
He said Azerbaijan and the IAEA were working together on planning in energy, nuclear infrastructure, food security and cancer treatment, including through the Rays of Hope initiative in cooperation with Azerbaijan's National Oncology Center.
Grossi also thanked Azerbaijan for its support for the IAEA's work on nuclear safety in the region.
