Iran supports territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan: Mahmoud Vaezi

"It is Iran's official position to support the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries in various tensions."
Report informs citing the Mehr agency, the Iranian presidential chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi said in a telephone conversation with Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
Vaizi stressed the need to put more effort into developing Tehran-Baku relations in the framework of common interests. He noted that good relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are an example for the countries in the region: "It is crucial to use the two countries' potential to develop relations."
