German MP: Azerbaijan is an attractive country for cooperation in all spheres

"Azerbaijan and Germany maintain normal inter-parliamentary relations. Considering that the role of parliamentaryism in the globalized world is decisive in interethnic inter-state ties, I think that there is a serious potential between the countries in this regard," Olav Gutting, a member of the German Bundestag (parliament) from the ruling party told the European Bureau of the Report.

According to him, the German parliament needs to conduct more interactive dialogues and presentations to promote Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan is an attractive country in the South Caucasus for cooperation in all spheres."

The deputy also stressed that military provocations and attacks against the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan are unacceptable:

"No country deserves military aggression, including Azerbaijan. There are international norms, as well as the mission of the OSCE Minsk Group, in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. I think that taking steps, contradicting these norms, can only serve to prolong the conflict," he said.
