"The relations between Azerbaijan and Germany are transparent, sincere, and at a high level," Member of the Bundestag, deputy of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany Nikolas Löbel told the European bureau of Report.
He noted that the strategic documents signed during mutual visits and cooperation with international officials further strengthen these relations.
A member of the Bundestag also said that Germany supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan:
"Undoubtedly, the current status quo is necessary to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Certainly, without violating international law and territorial integrity. In this sense, we support the activities of the Minsk Group. Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan and is an integral part of Azerbaijan. 4 UN legal documents confirm that these territories belong to Azerbaijan. We want this long-standing conflict to end and achieve peace in the Caucasus," the MP said.
