The declaration of independence on May 28, 1918, by the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic gave new impetus to Azerbaijan’s progress and thriving, reads a congratulatory tweet by Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili to his Azerbaijani colleague Sahiba Gafarova, Report informs.
“Happy Independence Day Azerbaijan! May our ties flourish in the decades to come for a better future of our brotherly nations!” he tweeted.
