Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has called Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev a leader who moves the country forward, Report informs.
"You are an example of a leader who moves the country forward while protecting the interests of your people and state," Irakli Kobakhidze said during the joint press statement with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on January 17.
Kobakhidze also hailed the brotherly relations between the two countries, stating that this brotherhood is based on strategic partnership:
"We are confident that this brotherhood will continue to develop. We are allies and we strongly support each other."
The politician thanked the President of Azerbaijan for his congratulations on his re-election as Prime Minister of Georgia.
According to him, the victory of the ruling party in Georgia will ensure peace and stability in the region.
