Tbilisi. 26 November. REPORT.AZ/ Deepening strategic relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey remains a priority for Georgia.

Georgian Bureau of Report News Agency informs that it is included in the strategy and action plan of Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament for 2018-2020, which has been presented today in Tbilisi.

The document says that it is important for Georgia to deepen regional cooperation further and to pursue an active neighborhood policy in order to ensure the country's democratic, stable and secure development.

It was noted that special attention will be paid to the implementation of economic, trade and energy projects with Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The document also underlines the influence of Georgia's geopolitical location on the foreign policy of the country. "Balanced, effective bilateral and multilateral cooperation with other countries, including close neighbors in the region, will make a significant contribution to the safe and peaceful development of Georgia, as well as the whole region."

Georgian MPs, government members, representatives of diplomatic corps and international organizations attended the presentation.
