"Georgia shares Azerbaijan's concerns over the recent tensions on the state border with Armenia," said Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.
According to Report's local bureau, he noted further steps must be taken to de-escalate the situation: "The international community must actively involve in the process of relieving tension."
Zalkaliani emphasized that Georgia and Azerbaijan support each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In turn, Jeyhun Bayramov said that Azerbaijan has always expressed unequivocal and firm support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
