George Kent: Azerbaijan plays a big role in ensuring security in the region

Report informs that the due statement was made by the Special Advisor to US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia George Kent.

"Such large-scale projects are an example of successful cooperation between companies and States in the name of peace," said the Adviser to the Deputy Secretary of State, stressing the importance of ensuring energy security.

Kent noted that the US is interested in the development of relations with Azerbaijan and wants to see the country even more developing and prosperous.

"We want our relations with Azerbaijan to become better. Azerbaijan is a country that plays an important role in ensuring security in the region," he said, noting Azerbaijan's participation in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
