Former president of Serbia: The world is on the verge of a nuclear war

We must be able to stop the Hamas-Israel war and prevent another conflict, former president of Serbia, Boris Tadic, told Report.

According to him, Serbia has suffered a lot historically: "We always think of ourselves as victims. But sometimes in history, for example, in the war in the former Yugoslavia, we have committed certain atrocities. In this regard, a kind of self-criticism and a very honest approach can be extremely useful. I fear that this kind of conflict in Gaza is something that both sides are involved in as tools. There are extremists on both sides—between the Israelis and the Palestinians. It is impossible to end this kind of conflict without the intervention of the international community. We must also think about the future."

The former head of state believes that the world is currently on the verge of a nuclear war: "The Russia-Ukraine war aggravates the situation. You cannot find winners and losers in a nuclear war. Everyone will lose."
