Former Latvian president: Azerbaijan develops each succeeding year

Baku. 16 March. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan develops each succeeding year and expands its infrastructure.

Report informs, former Latvian President Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga told reporters at the 5th Global Forum in Baku.

She noted that Azerbaijan now is a territory of stability, despite the war in recent history.

“After collapse of Soviet Union, Azerbaijan like Latvia, came a long way. However, Azerbaijan has advantage thanks to its natural resources. I see how Azerbaijan develops from year to year and expands its infrastructure. In Azerbaijan natural resources serve the interests of the people”, Vīķe-Freiberga told.
