Foreigners in Azerbaijan to receive residence permits electronically

Azerbaijan is planning to provide residence permit documents electronically in the near future, the State Migration Service told Report.

On May 14, a meeting was held at the agency with employers who attract foreign labor. Within the framework of the meeting, current issues related to labor migration and economic activities of foreign businesspeople, new provisions in the legislation regarding highly qualified migrants and the mechanism for obtaining this status, as well as innovations related to the electronic provision of residence permits were brought to attention.
