First political consultations held between foreign ministries of Azerbaijan & Paraguay

On May 10, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay Julio Arriola as part of a visit to Latin America, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

At the meeting, the level of ties between the two countries was highly appreciated, the importance of the political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Paraguay was emphasized. The existing opportunities for expanding cooperation in various areas, including in the energy, agricultural and humanitarian spheres, were discussed.

Along with this, the parties exchanged views on the development of prospects for cooperation within the regional and international organizations.
