Foreign Minister: Organization of Turkic States ready to assist Kazakhstan

"The Organization of Turkic States is ready to assist Kazakhstan in finding a way out of the current situation," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at an emergency meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States on Kazakhstan, Report informs.

"We believe in the wisdom and ability of the people and the government of Kazakhstan. We believe that Kazakhstan will emerge from the situation without risking its remarkable achievements after regaining its independence, and common sense will prevail.

“In this regard, the Organization of Turkic States has an important task. The organization is based on solidarity among member states, and it is our common responsibility to stand by our Kazakh brothers and sisters in these difficult times.

“In this respect, we welcome the 6 January 2022 declaration stating that the organization is ready to assist Kazakhstan in finding a way out of the current situation. We consider this as a sign of the organization's ability and determination to fulfill its obligations to the member and observer countries of the organization," he said.
