First statement by new Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan 

“Upon the order of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, I was appointed as an Ambassador to Azerbaijan from the Permanent Membership of Board of trustees of the Turkish Educational Foundation (TEF),” newly-appointed Ambassador Cahit Bağcı tweeted, Report informs.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the President who deemed us worthy of this honorable duty,” he said.

He also thanked Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu for his support to this appointment: “We will work like a worker bee with a deep-rooted spirit of friendship and brotherhood and love.

May Allah allow us to serve with pride.”
