Finland’s President: I'm optimistic about settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Strasbourg. 23 January . REPORT.AZ/ “Finland supports the activity of the OSCE Minsk Group to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," President of Finland Sauli Niinistö said.

Western European Bureau of Report News Agency informs that he spoke at the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) responding question of Rafael Huseynov, a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE.

The president of Finland said that he is now optimistic about the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said that though he was not upbeat in this regard earlier, today he believes in it. However, the president underlined that as always, Armenia and Azerbaijan remain the main actors in solving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
