Fidan condemns some Western countries’ stance on Baku-Yerevan normalization

Türkiye is dissatisfied with some Western countries’ stance regarding the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Shusha Saturday, Report informs.

“We sincerely believe that the current negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia will soon lead to the signing of a peace treaty. In this context, we particularly appreciate Azerbaijan's strong determination and positive approach to signing this agreement. However, we are not satisfied with the unbalanced attitude of some Western countries, which openly favor Armenia, neglecting Azerbaijan’s concerns. The Turkic world must continue to provide full support to Azerbaijan for the successful completion of this process,” Fidan said.
