European Parliament welcomes termination of criminal proceedings against Mehman Huseynov

Baku. 23 January. REPORT.AZ/ Sajjad Karim, head of the delegation of the European Parliament for cooperation with the South Caucasus, welcomes the decision of Azerbaijan to dropcriminal proceedings against blogger Mehman Huseynov.

"As head of the delegation, I welcome this positive step and look forward to the release of M. Huseynov," he said.

Earlier it was reported that the President of Azerbaijan had given instructions on the objective and fair investigation of Mehman Huseynov's case.
