EU official: Azerbaijani universities should benefit from available resources in training professionals

Baku. 1 March. REPORT.AZ/ "New enterprises are opened for the domestic market, other works are carried out, however, there is a need for national human resources to implement all of these steps. Therefore, Azerbaijan universities should benefit properly from available resources in training professionals," Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas said.

Report informs that he spoke at the presentation of the project "Strengthening of Research, Inventions and Innovations in the Higher Education System of Azerbaijan".

According to him, although globalization threatens everyone, it is necessary to use new opportunities: "We can give two things to our children - health and education. The project is aimed at this very direction."

"What can be done to include Azerbaijani  universities to the list of world’s best universities? You should try new methods. Just you can use the best practices well-tried in European countries. Today cooperation established with the European Union is an investment in education, and this is useful for the future. We have worked in all spheres of education for many years in Azerbaijan, " Jankauskas said.
