EU official: Azerbaijan has successful foreign policy

"Europe is developing day after day. It is important to work jointly in a world of global challenges. Azerbaijan has successful foreign policy," Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas said.

Report informs that he spoke at the session "Strengthening Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace" held within the 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue .

According to him, the European Union carries out many missions in the field of security: "Our organization has lived the greatest period of peace since inception. The reason lies in the interests of different states in each other, which is very important for us since it makes conflicts impossible."

Jankauskas said that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership: "Azerbaijan is also a member of this program. We know that security, independence and territorial integrity are important for our partners. EU offers to work jointly in a globalized world."
