Baku. 13 December. REPORT.AZ / The European Union hopes to agree on the text of a new agreement with Azerbaijan by May 2019 - the 10th anniversary of the Eastern partnership program.
Report informs that the due statement came from the head of the EU delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas.
According to the Ambassador, the regular round of talks was held in early December in Baku.
"There was a very good progress, especially in trade. Brussels is working intensively to hold the next round of talks in January. In other words, we hope to agree on the text for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern partnership, so that it could be initialed by the middle of next year," he said.
