EU Ambassador commends Azerbaijan's participation in COVAX

The European Union supported Azerbaijan during the pandemic and is ready to support it in the post-pandemic period, EU Ambassador in Azerbaijan Peter Michalko said at an event on the activity of the Eastern Partnership program, held at the ADA University.

He believes that the EU - Azerbaijan cooperation will continue to strengthen. The EU official says the European Union appreciates Azerbaijan's participation in COVAX.

COVAX is an international mechanism launched by WHO in partnership with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation.
