Report informs that head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas spoke at structural consultations in Baku on the future of the Eastern Partnership program.
"Over the past years, 34 different Azerbaijani institutions participated in 21 joint projects with the EU. Azerbaijan also leads in the number of Twinning projects. Despite its geographical location, Azerbaijan is very active in relations with the EU," the ambassador said.
He also noted that within the framework of these discussions it is important to understand how Azerbaijan sees the development of cooperation with the EU and within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program.
