On his way back to Turkey from the Africa tour, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commented on Iran's military exercises near the Azerbaijani border, Report informs.
"Personally, I do not believe that there will be a military confrontation between Iran and Azerbaijan. Iran cannot target Azerbaijan for relations with Israel, because today the number of Azerbaijanis living in Iran is obvious. This, of course, is thought-provoking. It is not that easy. What (Iran-ed.) did is wrong. I hope Iran's new leadership will not continue this mistake," he said.
