Envoy: UK does not recognize so-called 'elections' in Azerbaijan's Karabakh region

The UK does not recognize the so-called “elections” held in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, the British Ambassador to Baku Fergus Auld wrote in a post on X, Report informs.
“The UK does not recognize the so-called “presidential elections” held in Karabakh on September 9. Emphasizing the importance of the principles and norms of international law, we support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan,” the British diplomat said.
