Envoy: UK announces ambitious climate change target

The UK announces an ambitious climate change target to reduce greenhouse emissions by 2035 by 78 percent compared to 1990, UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp tweeted, Report informs.
The UK intends to reduce greenhouse emissions by only 68 percent by 2030. To implement the new goal, the government plans to reduce meat production, accelerate the introduction of renewable energy sources and electric vehicles.
