Ambassador: Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have successfully implemented joint projects over the past 25 years

"Over the past 25 years Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have implemented projects, that play an important role not only in our countries, but also in the economic development of the world," Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazgan said at the 8th Caspian Energy Forum in Tbilisi.

The ambassador said that Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and other regional projects play an important role not only in the region, but also in Europe. "We did not take into consideration the People's Republic of China and some other developed states. However, today China and other major states have joined this project, which proves significance of our joint efforts and works."

Yazgan emphasized that special attention should be paid to security issues in order to make the projects more profitable and to stimulate the well-being of our peoples: "On the other hand, human capital should be in the spotlight. Development of human capital will be of great benefit for the development of our peoples and states."
