Ukraine is deeply grateful to Azerbaijan and personally to the country's President Ilham Aliyev for another batch of humanitarian aid. This support is vital for the Ukrainian people and the functioning of the country's economy, Economic Counsellor of the Ukrainian Embassy, Oleh Klynchenko, told journalists in Sumgait, from where another batch of humanitarian aid was shipped to Ukraine, Report informs.
"This aid truly saves Ukrainian lives, the Ukrainian people, and ensures the functioning of our economy. Very recently at the Davos forum, Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ilham Aliyev met, and this meeting became another event guaranteeing our strategic partnership, indicating that our relations have a solid foundation," he stated.
According to Klynchenko, it is significant that the shipment of the new aid batch coincided with the date marking the 33rd anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
"We have common goals in ensuring, developing, and guaranteeing regional stability, regional peace, and regional trade cooperation. We are glad to see how trade between us is becoming more complex, more comprehensive, which is beneficial for both Azerbaijan and us," he added.
