Baku. 26 August. REPORT.AZ/ "The event, to be held in Paris in September, will not be canceled, there should be no reason to worry." Report was told by third Secretary of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France Habib Hajiyev, commenting on the letter of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France demanding to cancel the event "Azerbaijani village in the heart of the Palais Royal", organized by first Paris City Hall and the Embassy.
According to him, the Azerbaijani Embassy in France sent a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Internal Affairs of France in connection with threats of Armenians : "French Interior Ministry is aware of this and will control the territory during the event, all security measures will be enhanced".
"France is a democratic state, and anyone can write an open letter, so in any case the event will be held", - said J. Hajiyev.
Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France wrote an open letter on the occasion of helding "Azerbaijani village in the heart of the Palais Royal" event in Paris from August 29 to September 10.
