Embassy: No Azerbaijani citizens among victims of the terrorist attack in Nice

Baku. 15 July. REPORT.AZ/ "According to available information, Azerbaijani citizens among the dead and wounded in a terrorist attack in Nice."

Report was told in the Azerbaijani Embassy to France.

The embassy noted that the information on the dead or wounded Azerbaijanis has not been received in the diplomatic mission.

Citizens of Azerbaijan, located in France, is also recommended to follow safety measures of government agencies of the country and avoid crowded places.

Notably, in the evening on July 14, the truck driver rammed a crowd of people who gathered on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice to see the fireworks on the occasion of Bastille Day. According to eyewitnesses, the truck did not stop, zigzagging, was hitting people for nearly two kilometers of waterfront, the attacker also opened fire. He was eliminated by the police.

The attack killed 84 people, injured dozens.
