Director-general: ICESCO proud of its co-op with Azerbaijan

ICESCO is proud of its cooperation with Azerbaijan, ICESCO Director-General Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik said at the opening ceremony of the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue: “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interconnectivity”, which began on May 1 in Baku, Report informs.

“ICESCO has every reason to take pride in its exceptional partnership with the leadership of this dynamic country, whose historic city, Shusha, prepares to launch its activity as the capital of culture in the Islamic world on May 11 next week. We at ICESCO are proud to witness a new milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Azerbaijan and ICESCO that covers activities, programs, projects in the culture and civilization spheres and many other disciplines,” he noted.

He also welcomed the process of beginning delimitation of the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
