Derek Hogan: We all looking forward to the approval of the candidacy of US Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku. 8 December. REPORT.AZ/ "We are very happy to see that the US Senate Foreign relations committee took that important step which makes one step closer to full confirmation by the Senate which we hope will happen very soon" US Chargé d'Affaires to Azerbaijan Derek Hogan stated this to Report.
"We look forward to the approval of the Senate candidacy of US Ambassador to Azerbaijan" said Hogan.
On 5 December, the Committee on Foreign Relations of the US Senate approved Robert Francis Cekuta as US Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Earlier, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Energy, Sanctions and Commodities in the State Department's Bureau of Energy and businesses.
