Deputy Prime Minister: Azerbaijan and Turkey became shining stars of the world due to joint global projects including TANAP

Baku. 29 May. REPORT.AZ/ The Azerbaijani Embassy to Turkey held expanded official reception on the occasion of May 28 - Republic Day in Ankara. Report was said in the Embassy.

Along with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Yalcin Akdogan, former chairmen of the Turkish Grand National Assembly - Ismet Sezgin and Hikmet Cetin, the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces Commander, Army General Abdullah Atay, 27 generals, MP Sinan Ogan, representatives of different political parties, Turkish High-ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a large number of heads and representatives of NGOs, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Ankara, as well as, a lot of social, Diaspora and media representatives attended the event.

The event began with the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

In his speech, Yalcin Akdogan, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey noted the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey and said that Azerbaijan and Turkey are becoming shining stars of the world due to joint global projects including TANAP.
